You’re young, you’re a bit daft, you follow the herd. Why not top yourself for a slice of fifteen minutes of fame? Or is it somethign the rest of us are NEVER MEANT TO UNDERSTAND. Welcome to Bridgend, currently suffering a cluster of youth suicides. They’ve hit the 17 mark. Are they trying to set a new record? Do the parents deserve the grief, or is there just something in the water out there in Wales?
Suicide is not new. And you don’t have to be young to do it. What are these youngster trying to prove. Is there some forceful education they can be drilled in that there’s no Fan Club for Lonely Heart Suicides in Heaven (or Hell)?
Maybe all the attention they get is fuel for the fire. On that note, let’s take a break! Things can’t possibly be that bad. C’mon kids – Get a grip!
